ACCESSIBLITY

Activity 1 - Real Users For the following pictures decide what existing or fantasy input/output devices would benefit them. Remember people have five senses sight, smell, taste, touch, and hearing, so you might want to create devices for each of them – there is also the possibility of direct brain input.   Working Professional - Bluetooth mouse, Keyboard, Headphone.                                               Old women  - Easy accessible  display , Zoom in for Font, Vibration.                                              Foreigner- Translation accessible in the Display ,Foreign keyboard.                              ...

Short story Silent guardian

Image
SILENT GUARDIAN  Dr. Fedal, a brilliant bioengineer, and his best friend, Dr. Fareem, a computer science technology engineer, always worked on new projects aimed at helping the medical society. The driving force behind their projects was the loss of both their parents to cancer. One day, after the final test, Dr. Fareem entered the lab with excitement. Fareem: Fedal, this is awesome! Our project is working. It’s unbelievable! Imagine a world where we can detect diseases before symptoms even appear. We could save countless lives. Fedal, with a hint of concern, couldn't express his feelings and excitement fully. Fedal: But we need to be cautious, Fareem. Privacy concerns will be a major hurdle. People won’t easily accept the idea...

week 6 Smart system and Sensors

week 6 Smart system and Sensors ROTARY ENCODER D MX FADE-SIMPLE In this lab session, I used the Elegoo Uno combined with BMX light and a switch to control the brightness of the BMX stage lights. During this lab session, I combined the Elegoo Uno board with a DMX light and a rotary switch to regulate the brightness of stage lights. I consulted the DMX light standards available online, particularly a PowerPoint presentation by Microsoft, to grasp the intricacies of channel configurations and controller interactions. Adhering to these standards, including baud rate adjustments and channel settings, was crucial for seamless integration with the Elegoo Uno via Arduino code. Despite facing challenges in connecting the DMX light and researching Arduino code implementation, the process was rewarding, especially devising methods to translate rotary switch values into light brightness levels. M...
